All 8th graders will be able to come to 128 and experience what they have to look forward to as a high school student. Afterward, Jeff will meet with the 8th grade parents to answer any questions and explain the basics of the High School Ministry.
This will be the 8th graders' official first night in the High School Ministry. We’ll welcome them into our ministry with open arms! We’ll gather together in the Pavilion Concourse for worship and teaching, and then when our older students break out into their small groups, we will hold an orientation for our new Freshmen.
Our Sunday morning Deep End program is a workshop-based discussion time. We meet as a group in the Pavilion Concourse at 9:00 am and then split into various workshops. Our new students will be given the opportunity to join one of the current workshops.
Here's a chance to hang out with your fellow 8th graders and get to know the high school staff. We'll be eating and swimming at Jeff and Stephanie's house. The cool thing is that it's free for you!
Summer Camp is the best way to get plugged into the ministry. Not only does camp provide time for building relationships with each other, but it also gives them a chance to build relationships with staff, which will be vital over the next four years as we minister to your student. I highly encourage you to have your student attend Summer Camp. Check our website, www.128online.com, for more info or to pay by credit card.
