Since I was 5 years old

How did you accept Christ?
One day I was asking my mom about how I know if I’m going to Heaven. She explained that the only way is to ask Jesus to forgive me and be the Lord of my life. Well, that made sense to me, so right then I decided to pray with my mom and ask Jesus to be my Savior.

How long have you been on staff?
Since August 2006

Sophomore girls

What is your favorite book of the Bible?
Philippians and Ruth

What is your favorite verse?
Proverbs 4:23 (of course), Psalms 27:13-14, and Philippians 2:1-11

What is your most embarrassing moment?
In 8th grade, I decided to be a part of a violin trio participating in CMEA (which is a county-wide music festival). At this festival you play one song for a judge, and then they give you a score based on how good you were. I was so nervous because I had never played in a trio before and the song we were playing was pretty challenging for me. Well, my two friends and I get there into the judging room, and I set up my two pages of music. The judge comes in and we begin to play. By half way through I’m thinking, “Wow… this is easier than I thought!” Then my eyes shift to the next page of music. At first, I thought I had the wrong music on my stand! So now I’m freaking out and have stopped playing. Then I realize that it is the right music, but I had set it upside down. By now everyone in the room has noticed the one violinist not playing her part and wondering what is going on. So I stop, flip the page over, and try to pick up where the rest of the group was at on the page. Lucky for me, the judge was not grading on the intellect of the players, because my group still received the highest rating possible for our performance.

What is your favorite food?
Coffee is more of a beverage, but it's definitely my favorite. As for real food… Mexican food or tri tip is awesome.

What is your favorite movie?
I don’t think I have a favorite movie… it depends on what I’m in the mood for. I really like Iron Man, Get Smart, and Kate and Leopold.

What are your hobbies?
Reading, drinking coffee, watching Alias, watching movies, hanging out with friends
